Through yoga I learned that even the simplest way of moving my body is beneficial to how I feel. I am not saying that yoga is simple or easy, it is quite the opposite. I am only referring to the single aspect of yoga that involves simple stretching. In beginning yoga stretching is combined with core strength to hold poses, the stretching is what I utilized most.

I have done simple floor stretches and have found that the ritual of stretching my body’s muscles has improved my overall heath. I believe that when applying the concept a little work goes a long way for example; taking the stairs rather than the elevator at work will have substantial results over time. I believe that goals such as being healthier and more energetic can be accomplished over time by simply making small adjustment to my daily life. I intend to always be mindful of my health even in my everyday tasks. What I enjoyed most about yoga was taking time out of my day to be quiet and focus on me.
